Looking back, I can’t believe my life was so… mundane. I read. I drew. I painted. I was pressured into making a decision: wait in this unknown village indefinitely and hope someone would eventually find a way to send me home, or get off my arse and join them on a journey that could very well result in my death. Fighting for my life through freeze responses, sarcastic comments and a poorly aimed arrow. The nights got colder, the conversations got longer and a newfound connection grew where I had least expected it. Songs were sung, stories were told and secrets were shared. As we near our destination, the enchantment of the land begins to fade as the truth beneath it unravels. Unexpected feelings, danger at every corner and unsettling secrets that could change the world.
